Soft Water System -There a several types of water filter systems out
there. All of them need to have a drain line. There are a few key factors
when deciding what to buy. Most of
them are determined by what you want in the system. We do recommend a Soft
Water system in every home. Hard water is the number one enemy of plumbing.
Besides leaving stains on all of your faucets, sinks, mirrors and
countertops, hard water clogs your pipes and fixtures reducing there life
capacity. You end up spending more money on repairs then you would if you had
a soft water system. Soft water also reduces the amount of soap you use by
about 75%. All soaps have a chemical built in to soften the water. Otherwise
your clothes would come out of the washer stiff as a board. Be careful when
buying a Softener. Some products will reduce the water pressure to the home.
We do have a softener system that keeps the pressure as high as possible. Reverse Osmosis (RO System) - RO Systems are designed for drinking water and are
usually found at the kitchen sink. They discharge a lot of water and require
a drain line close by. If you go to your local home improvement store you may
find one that has 3 filters in total. There are others that have 5 filters
such as the one we install. How can they both be a RO System. Well there is
one filter called the membrane filter and it’s what official makes it an RO
System. I suggest finding one that has 5 filters. The water produced by an RO
System is the purest water you can buy. It is Pure H20. It can take 3-5 hours
to produce 1 gallon of water. Soft water system installed starts at
$1995.00 for a standard install. RO System installed starts at $450.00 for a
standard install. If
Both Systems are installed together a $150.00 Discount will apply. |
